Rohan Bopanna recorded the 100th doubles win of his career (100-75) on Wednesday in partnership with Aisam Qureshi at the Eastbourne ATP tournament on Wednesday. Qureshi has a 96-70 record.

Bopanna and Qureshi defeated Spaniards Pablo Andujar and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-3, 6-4 in 65 minutes to enter the quarterfinals of the event.
Last week, the Indian-Pakistani team captured their second ATP World Tour team title at the Gerry Weber Open in Halle. They have a 22-12 match record on the season.
In singles, Somdev Devvarman went down after a hard-fought contest to Julien Benneteau of France. The Indian lost 6-7 (1), 7-6 (8), 6-3 in two hours and 33 minutes in the second round.
Venus continues comeback
Venus Williams continued her winning return after a long injury layoff by beating former world No.1 Ana Ivanovic of Serbia 6-3 6-2 at the Eastbourne grass-court Wimbledon warm-up tournament on Wednesday. Venus took just over an hour to get past Ivanovic and reach the quarter-finals.
The American, a five-times Wimbledon champion, had been sidelined for five months with a stomach injury.
