While the club refused to comment, the BBC and Press Association say Parry's departure will be announced officially on Friday. The move follows earlier speculation that Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez could be on the way out from Anfield. Benitez has been seeking greater control over transfers and has so far declined to sign a new contract.
