FIFA and international police agency Interpol will meet next week to step up football's fight against match-fixing and corrupt betting.
FIFA says its president Sepp Blatter and Interpol secretary general Ronald Noble will announce progress after a session scheduled Monday at FIFA headquarters.

Blatter has acknowledged football's problem with international matches being organized specifically for betting scams.
In February, two friendly matches involving Latvia and Bolivia, Estonia and Bulgaria were played in Turkey where all seven goals were scored from penalties.
FIFA charged six match officials from Hungary and Bosnia over their alleged part in the fixes.
A Singaporean man who organized the matches has not been traced.
