Germany midfielder Sami Khedira has signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid after passing a medical on Saturday.

Khedira joined the Spanish club from Stuttgart on Friday, with the deal sealed a day later at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium at a price tag of 12 million euros (Rs. 72.6 crore).

Madrid team doctor Carlos Diez said Khedira was in “perfect” health.
The 23-year-old Khedira drew attention from clubs around Europe following his strong performances at the World Cup.
