India's Leander Paes and his Czech partner Lukas Dlouhy lost 6-7(6), 6-7(5) against Daniel Nestor of Canada and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia in the quarter-finals of the Cincinnati Masters tournament.

The sixth seeded Indo-Czech pair put up a tough fight against Nenad and Zimonjic, second seeded, but gave up in an hour and a half.
In another quarterfinal Israeli John Elrich and Andy Ram defeated Sweden's Simon Aspelin and Britain's Jamie Murray 6-3, 6-3.
Paes's Olympic partner Mahesh Bhupthi has already reached the semifinal along with Mark Knowles of Bahamas and will face top seeded Americans Bob and Mike Bryan.
