World number one Rafael Nadal announced on Tuesday that he will travel to London with the intention of playing at Wimbledon, after a knee injury forced his withdrawal from this week's Queen's tournament.

"After testing yesterday and today, Monday and Tuesday, with the proper treatment required by the doctors, we decided to travel to London next Tuesday, June 16," the reigning Wimbledon champion said on his official website.
"I will give 200 per cent to be able to be 100 per cent at the most important tennis tournament in the world," he said.
"If I take part I will be at 100 per cent."
