Also, women's top seed Flavia Pennetta advanced to her fifth consecutive final in Acapulco, where she'll come across No. 2-seeded Alize Cornet for the first time.

Nalbandian, who won in Buenos Aires before home fans last weekend, has won 10 straight matches.

After claiming the only break of the first set, Nalbandian broke 2006 champ Horna three more times.

In the final he will meet either sixth-seeded Nicolas Almagro or Jose Acasuso, the runner-up in Buenos Aires.

Pennetta eased past No. 7 Kaia Kanepi of Estonia 6-4, 6-2 in the semifinals.

The Italian has appeared in every Acapulco final since 2004, but won only in 2005. Two weeks ago she won her fifth career title in Chile but was upset last week in the first round in Colombia. French teenager Cornet downed Jill Craybas of the United States 6-2, 6-2 to move into her first career final. She's yet to drop a set.
