Tee Higgins, wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals, suffered a concussion in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s Week 12 game against the New England Patriots. The injury happened with about 4:45 remaining when Higgins jumped for a deep pass from Joe Flacco and landed hard on his head and neck. Medical staff rushed to him immediately. Higgins was then carted off the field and taken to the locker room. He was ruled out for the rest of the game.

Higgins, 26, recorded five catches for 31 yards before exiting Sunday's game. For the season, he has totaled 40 receptions for 575 yards and seven touchdowns across 11 games.
The Bengals (3–8) now face a short week before visiting the Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving night. Higgins’ status remains in doubt, as he must clear the NFL’s concussion protocol to be eligible to play.
Cincinnati played Sunday without star receiver Ja’Marr Chase, who served a one-game suspension for spitting on Steelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey in Week 11.

{{/usCountry}}Dr. David J. Chao, a prominent sports doctor, has offered insight into Tee Higgins’ likely availability for the Bengals’ upcoming matchup against the Ravens.
He wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that Higgins is unlikely to play on Thursday night in Baltimore after suffering a concussion. He added, however, that both Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase are expected to return to the field for Cincinnati.
“Tee Higgins suffered a concussion today and was visibly knocked out,” Chao wrote. “Do not expect him to play on Thursday, but the Bengals will get Ja'Marr Chase and Joe Burrow back.”
