Villa had earlier missed a penalty when the scores were level at 0-0.
Before the second-half kicked-off, a minute's silence was held in honour of 26-year-old Jarque who died from a heart attack while at an Espanyol training camp in Italy.
The players also wore black armbands for the final 45 minutes.
