Vinci captures second Barcelona title

Italian sixth seed Roberta Vinci won her second Barcelona WTA claycourt title in three years on Saturday with a 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 victory over Lucie Hradecka of the Czech Republic.

Italian sixth seed Roberta Vinci won her second Barcelona WTA claycourt title in three years on Saturday with a 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 victory over Lucie Hradecka of the Czech Republic.

Vinci was also champion here in 2009 and finished runner-up last year to compatriot Francesca Schiavone who went on to take the French Open title.

The 28-year-old Italian now boasts four WTA singles titles, having also won at Bogota in 2007 and Luxembourg in 2010.
