A glam hottie's real life story finds space in reel life too. But, that's not the only thing actress Kashmira Shah has to cheer about. She never ever imagined that being a Bollywood bride for a Hollywood film would earn her an international 'Frownie Award'.
Married to an Australian man in real life, Kashmira was offered to do a Hollywood film in which she had to play the character of an Indian superstar, with whom a foreigner gets obsessed.
Further in the film he comes down to India, marries the actress and then the reel life drama gets unfolded. "Why I relate to this film is because it is pretty much like my own life. My husband is Australian too and we got married to each other in somewhat reel life way. That's why he calls me Bollywood bride," states Kashmira.
Now, with an international award under her belt for her role in this film, Kashmira Shah can now expect things falling in line for her in Bollywood too.
With oh-so hot and sexy image in Bollywood, Kashmira feels that she has earned something beyond her expectations and deserves similar treatment in Bollywood too. "Even my films did well and I had an opportunity to start my career with a full-fledged role in Yes Boss, but I never earned the recognition which I always looked for. Now, I am more than satisfied that what I wanted to do here, in fact did in Hollywood," says she.

I have to do some meaty roles and realistic films. I am happy that my short stint in Pooja Bhatt's Holiday was well appreciated though it did not get as much publicity as it should have. But I am happy that I am doing films on my own terms."
