"I am not going through any bad phase in Bollywood that I will compromise my dignity in films. I am not the one who without feeling embarrassed, expose like many other actresses. I have skin not to show off shamelessly, like some recent actresses, but to keep it within my clothes and limits of decency. It's because of this reason that I took no time to decide whether I should accept the role in Neil N Nikki or not. I am anyways not in the rat race to bare it all. I don't want to criticize those who are into skin show. If they have it in them then let them flaunt it. It's just that are comfortable baring skin but I am not. These sex sirens are comfortable in baring bra and kissing on-screen but I am not game for it. I will never be comfortable in future too," she confesses.

For Takia, acting is more important than resorting to other means to grab the number one position. "For me, my ranking is not as important as my acting. I know if I am acting well, ranking will improve automatically. Acting is a profession and it was very much a conscious decision. It's not that I did one item dance and got some popularity and then decided to carry on. I took a decision and now I want to go by it because I believe in it. I am not desperate at all like many others. There is no denying the fact that there is a lot of desperation in the industry to go up and be in limelight but thanks to my values and traditions, I am out of the rat race and I am quite fortunate about it." she quips.
