Is it easy to deliver the perfect shot while slapping somebody you know? Bollywood enchantresses narrate their experiences to us.
Curvaceous beauty Sameera Reddy says, "It happened during one of the shoots that I was supposed to slap Sohail Khan on the sets. I was hesitant to hit him hard. I respect him very much and it's difficult to slap someone even when you know that you are doing it just for the sake of a film.
"I did it couple of times but Sohail was not satisfied with that and the shot was not getting an OK. He insisted that I slap him very hard. When he found that I am unable to perform, he started shouting that I should slap him hard. I slapped him 19 times continuously and then the take got the director's final approval. There was not any excruciation feeling on his face as if it's very normal for him and on the other hand I was feeling guilty."
Deepal Shaw has not slapped anyone in reel screen but her bruises on the set of Kalyug will remember her for years to come. Says she, "I am always involved very much in the character that I am portraying. In fact, when I was portraying my character as a trafficker in the film Kalyug, I allowed others to slap me hard on my face. I was not satisfied with the reel slap and so I insisted for the real slap.

I had pain on my cheeks many nights. But I was still happy that at least I got my shots perfectly okayed."
Says Actresses Udita Goswami, "Slapping someone you know so well, just for the sake of acting, is very tough for me because I am quite a kind-hearted person. During one of the shoots, I faced similar problem when I was asked to slap one of my co-stars and somehow got the shot perfectly in place."
