Kate Upton, who has been playing coy on whether she is dating Mark Sanchez, has admitted that she finds him to be “cute.”
When Ellen DeGeneres, a TV host, asked the 19-year-old model if she was dating the New York Jets quarterback, Upton implied that she is still single.
“Umm, I did not have a Valentine''''s Day date this year,” the New York Post quoted her as saying.
On being asked if she finds the 25-year-old cute, the Sports Illustrated 2012 swimsuit edition cover girl replied in the affirmative.“He’s cute,” she said.
Upton also revealed that she had met the footballer before this.
“I’ve met him. My sister works for the Jets. She’s been working there for four years so I went to all the games. I met him briefly,” Upton said.
Upton and Sanchez were first linked by Page Six in December, when the football star was spotted making late-night visits to the beauty’s Flatiron apartment.
Sources revealed that Sanchez had been seen carrying Christmas gifts for Upton into the building, and that he often arrived at the building just a few minutes after the model.
“They never come in together. He’s always five steps after her,” the source said.

{{/usCountry}}According to TMZ, earlier this week Upton similarly played coy about her relationship with the football star. On being asked if the two were a couple, Upton refused to divulge a proper answer.
