The bikini has changed shape, style and popularity. And back home, Bollywood has made good use of bikini girls and their alluring body of work.

However, there's a segment of hot actresses who are uncomfortable to be identified as a 'bikini babe'. Bollywood bombshell Bipasha Basu who strutted her stuff in the film Jism believes she is not just a bikini stuff as she says, "I don't think myself as part of the bikini brigade. I don't need to wear a bikini to look sexy. I look sexy even when fully covered."

In the age of smut glut, there are other women as well even who agree with Bipasha. Says Amisha Patel, "I have never accepted any role yet in which I am supposed to wear a bikini and do rounds of the set. In fact, no director has offered me this kind of a role because they all know that I am completely against doing any this sort of appearance on-screen. I have set some standards for myself and according to that I will never leave behind my traditional image. I don't need to go for a hot and sexy image. So, bikini is not my cup of tea."

The list of no-to-bikini girls is still much longer. Vidya Balan too considers herself out of the bra-baring loop. "I think I may not be natural in bikini because I am not such a person in reality. I would love to stick to what I have portrayed till now," states Balan.
