A celebrity magazine against which Tom Cruise has filed a 50-million-dollar defamation suit, has asked for an evaluation of his daughter Suri’s mental and emotional state following his split from Katie Holmes.

The Mission Impossible star, who sued the tabloid’s publisher Bauer Media after an October story that suggested he had neglected daughter Suri during his divorce, is now being hit by discovery demands.

As part of the legal proceedings, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Bauer Media is seeking specifics on Cruise’s personal life.

The demands include “the expectations for Cruise’s contact and visitation schedule with Suri and the terms of the divorce agreement,” as well as an evaluation of “Suri’s mental and emotional state” following her parents’ split, the New York Daily News reported.

Bauer Media is also asking for details about Cruise’s involvement in the Church of Scientology, and how his membership in the church affected communication with Suri.

Cruise and his lawyers have a few demands of their own, however.

Bauer Media must also reveal what Cruise’s legal team termed as “[A] history of bigotry and hatred toward minority religious groups and their members.”
