Rajasthan Wine freezer case: Victim’s kin tell cops not to take action

“My brother had slept inside the container and locked himself and due to the fire, he died in an accident. Earlier, we thought that it was done by the owners of the wine shop but when we enquired on their role, we found nothing on them. Hence, I request that no action should be taken against the owners,” the application filed by the brother of the accused said.

Man commits suicide after son’s lynching

The incident took a political turn on Friday with the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the case.

Pehlu Khan judgment lays bare glaring lapses in probe

Khan, a dairy farmer, was lynched on the Delhi-Jaipur highway near Behror in Rajasthan’s Alwar district while he was transporting cattle from a market in Jaipur to his home in Nuh, Haryana, on April 1, 2017. The court acquitted the six accused on August 14.

Charge sheet filed against lynching victim Pehlu Khan’s sons for cow smuggling

Pehlu Khan and his sons were thrashed by a mob on the suspicion of cow smuggling in Alwar’s Behror on Aprli 1, 2017. Khan died at a hospital in Alwar on April 3. The Rajasthan Police arrested seven men and detained two minors for the attack.

Illegal weapons seized in Jaipur, two held

On Friday, Rathore got information that two persons will come to Sanjay Bazaar with illegal weapons, following which Rathore and his team arrested Dharmendra Kumar aka Dharmu, 22 and Ravindra Singh aka Rinku, 24, both residents of Alwar.
