Putin accuses Ukraine of orchestrating Crimea bridge blast; calls it terrorism

The blast on the bridge over the Kerch Strait, a key supply route for Moscow's forces in southern Ukraine, had prompted gleeful messages from Ukrainian officials on Saturday but no claim of responsibility.

Day after massive Crimea bridge blast, traffic resumes on key link to Moscow

Crimea bridge blast: Several videos went viral on social media platforms showing the 19-kilometre road-and-rail bridge on fire, with several oil tankers set ablaze and two car lanes collapsed with parts plunging into the water.

Putin tightens security after blast on key bridge connecting Crimea with Russia

Nobody immediately claimed responsibility for the blast, which killed three people. The speaker of the Russian-backed regional parliament in Crimea accused Ukraine, but Moscow didn’t apportion blame.

The blast took place early on Saturday morning, with authorities saying two lanes had partially collapsed.
