Dudhwa Tiger Reserve has a total of 28 camp elephants, out of which 20 are at Dudhwa, four at Belrayan range and four at Katarniaghat wildlife sanctuary.
The Dudhwa Tiger Reserve in Uttar Pradesh has been ranked fourth among tiger reserves in India, with a tiger population of 135. The total tiger population in Uttar Pradesh has increased by 18.49% in four years, reaching 205 in 2022. Pilibhit tiger reserve has also received the CA TS certificate for tiger conservation.
The patrolling will cover the entire length and breadth of Dudhwa National Park (DNP), Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary and areas of the buffer zone including the border areas adjoining Pilibhit, Bahraich and Nepal
