Bihar mulls conducting panchayat polls via EVMs to bring transparency

Kerala, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are among few states where the EVMs have been used to conduct panchayat polls in the last several years, an official said.

Bihar Assembly Election 2020: How to cast votes using EVM, VVPAT and all you need to know

The Bihar polls will begin on Wednesday as 71 of the state’s 243 assembly constituencies will go to polls in the first phase. In the second phase, on November 3, 94 constituencies will vote, with the remaining 78 constituencies voting in the third and final phase on November 7.
