Madhuri Dixit is one of the leading actors of Bollywood industry. She was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She made her acting debut with Abodh in 1984 and moved on to mesmerise the audience in Tezaab (1988 ). She made a mark on the Bollywood industry with films like Ram Lakhan, Tridev, and Kishen Kanhaiya to Mrityudand and Lajja and won numerous awards for her performance. She was awarded with Padma Shri by the government of India in 2008. She made her Netflix debut with The Fame Game in 2022. She is married to a surgeon, Dr Sriram Nene.
