He made his debut as a lead actor with Rajakumarudu in 1999. He made his mark in Telugu film industry with films like Okkadu, Athadu Pokiri, Dookudu , Businessman and 1: Nenokkadine. He is known as the Prince of Tollywood. He is one of the highest paid actors in Telugu film industry. Heal-a-Child, a charitable trust, has been run by him.
