Botox: Doctor busts myths, shares facts about the popular cosmetic treatment

Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxin protein commonly known as Botox. Botox has been used since a long time in dermatology for clinical as well as cosmetic purposes. Even though Botox has been tried and tested and has been around since ages, there are still myths surrounding it. In an interview with HT Lifestyle, Dr Hitasha Patil, MBBS, DDVL at Kaya Clinic in Pune's Koregaon, busted some of these myths to help those opting for it get their facts right.
