Traffic jam likely as NHAI plans to block Delhi-Gurgaon e-way lanes for 6 months

The advisory said that the lanes will be blocked about a kilometre before the toll plaza, on the way to Jaipur. The concessionaire will construct temporary lanes in the space between the green belt and both carriageways.

Highway project to get delayed by 5 years: Govt

Work on new Ring Road to unclog Delhi kicks off

The highways authority has asked the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to provide land for transplantation of around 4,000 trees which need to be cut of the project

PM to lay foundation of Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor tomorrow. Details here

The Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor (from Eastern Peripheral Expressway Junction to Dehradun) is itself being built at a total cost of around Rs. 8,300 crore, and it is in line with the Prime Minister's vision to boost connectivity in the areas which were once considered far-flung.
Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor will reduce the travel time from Delhi to Dehradun from 6 hours to around 2.5 hours. It will have 7 major interchanges for connectivity to Haridwar, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Yamunanagar, Baghpat, Meerut, and Baraut. (ANI)
