A month after joining the ruling Janata Dal (United) in Bihar, poll strategist Prashant Kishor was on Tuesday appointed the national vice-president by party chief and Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar. The post of vice -president had been vacant since 2016, when Kumar became the party’s president, replacing Sharad Yadav. Party’s principal general secretary KC Tyagi confirmed Kishor’s appointment.
