UP Yoddha’s raiders found a bit tough to get going in the first half as they trailed 9-13 after 15 minutes. Rishank Devadiga had three points but didn’t get too much support from the likes of Shrikant Jadhav.
It was a disappointing first game for Jaipur Pink Panthers as they squandered a healthy first half advantage. Anup Kumar had a quiet match as he scored just four points and Deepak Hooda too disappointed with just two points.
UP Yoddha started brightly and never looked back to beat Tamil Thalaivas 37-32 in a Pro Kabaddi League 2018 match on Monday. Prashant Kumar Rai (8 points) led the Yoddha’s scoring chart while Narender did the damage with his tackles. Mistakes from Thalaivas defence didn’t help as they conceded as many as three technical points in a match where they fell behind early on and never recovered.
