Attending the convocation at IIT Bhubaneshwar, Isro chief K Sivan said, “By December 2020, we will have our first unmanned mission of human space plane. The second unmanned human space plane, we target for July 2021.”

The launch of Chandrayaan-2 was called off due to a technical snag early Monday morning. A technical snag was noticed in the launch vehicle system at T-56 minutes. The revised date for launch will be announced later, ISRO said in a statement. A statement from ISRO said that the launch of Chandrayaan 2 has been cancelled for today as a measure of “abundant precaution”. Here are the highlights:
