Financial influencer Sharan Hegde turned 30 and shared a carousel of visuals to showcase his celebrations in Thailand. One photo, which showed him posing with Soundous Moufakir, created a buzz.
“Wish me happy birthday coz I’m 30,” Hegde wrote on Instagram. Besides his picture with Soundous Moufakir, he shared photos of him posing with an elephant in the background and caressing a gentle giant.

Sharan Hegde is a financial influencer who was featured on Forbes' 30 under 30 list. With 2.8 million Instagram followers, he runs a financial edtech platform, The 1% Club, which recently recurred a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) licence from SEBI.
He once revealed that despite scoring 98% in CAT, he failed to secure admission to the Indian Institute of Management-Bangalore. However, years later, he was invited to the esteemed institute as a guest speaker.
Who is Soundous Moufakir?
Soundous Moufakir is an actor known for her stints in TV reality shows like Splitsvilla and Khatron Ke Khiladi. According to a 2024 Free Press Journal report, she opened up about facing a casting couch experience that created a stir online.
“I've had, like, two months ago there was a girl who was casting and she called me, and she's like, hey, there's this prime Amazon thing. You have to go for the audition. I was like, send me the script. She was like, no, no, you just go and meet the director I am speaking to him. So I told her can you please tell me more about you? So I know a little bit of your journey,” Soundous Moufakir told the Free Press Journal. She claimed that when she told she was a foreigner, she was asked if she was “ready to compromise.”
