The FX TV series, The People vs OJ Simpson: American Crime Story, topped the list of winners at 2016’s Television Critics Association Awards.

The FX show based on the true story collected three nods including the coveted Program of the Year and Outstanding Achievement in Movies, Miniseries and Specials. Its star Sarah Paulson received Individual Achievement in Drama, reported Ace Showbiz.
Overall, FX dominated the winner list with four. Besides the People vs OJ Simpson triple victory, the network added another gong with The Americans which won Outstanding Achievement in Drama.

It’s the second year in row that the period drama series grabs the title at the TCA awards.
USA’s Mr Robot has been named Outstanding New Program and ABC’s Black-ish was recognised as Outstanding Achievement in Comedy.

Rachel Bloom won Individual Achievement in Comedy for her role on The CW’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Lily Tomlin was feted with Life Achievement Award.
