It was a memorable evening when Amitabh Bachchan sang at the grand premiere of the TV quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), held in Surat.The event, which will be telecast on Sony Entertainment Television on August 17, at 8.30 pm, will see Bachchan crooning a song that the megastar has created for the show himself.

"Seeing Mr Bachchan perform live will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for people. We hope that KBC continues to enthral and inspire our viewers with positivity and hope," says Nachiket Pantvaidya, senior executive vice-president and business head, Sony Entertainment Television.
The show, which will air every Monday to Thursday at 8.30 pm on Sony Entertainment Television, will see Big B as the host. Funnyman Kapil Sharma, who was also part of the premiere episode, left the audience in splits with his signature humour, as he chatted with Big B.
