Bigg Boss 10: Highlights from Monday night’s emotional, super-meta episode

The task assigned to the contestants made a revelation that a lot of people are still gentle at heart despite their hard outer surfaces, and can do things you’d not believe even in the nascent stages of a friendship.
It has been merely three weeks since the tenth season of the show took off, but strong friendships have already been formed. Last night’s episode was a proof of that. One event stood out among the rest, but here’s a list of top three anyway.
1. Nitibha wins the immunity medallion
Contestants were made to place bets on the immunity medallion and the highest bet would the person who made the bet, win immunity from nominations twice in the show. The betting amount, however, will be deducted from the prize money.
Nitibha wins the medallion and also makes the prize money Rs 25 lakh less. Surprisingly, everyone praised her for it and no one was angry at the prize money getting reduced so severely.
2. Om Swamiji’s split personality
Babaji switched sides faster than a chameleon changes colours.
He tagged Bani as ‘Ek Thi Dayan’ just two days ago and now he is watching her work out and learning to stay fit from her. Live, and in a secret room.
He calls Monalisa names for dancing in front of the camera, saying ‘budhape mein kahan se laogi jawaani’ and ‘kaise log hai jo aisi ladki ko vote karte hain’. But the same Babaji later starts copying her dance steps on his own, and learns to move like her.
He is one difficult person to understand.
3. The toughest nominations ever
For the nominations process this time, a test was taken of friendships and the first jodi to be tested was Bani and Gaurav. Bani could not move from her seat and will not be safe from nominations unless Gaurav applied bleach on his eyebrows. He says no at first, but after some coaxing from Bani, he agrees to do it.
Then poor old Karan shreds his wife’s photo to save Rohan and the entire house bursts into sobs on seeing him struggle with the torn pieces. Manu rips his precious doll apart for Monalisa, sent to him by his family on Diwali, and Bani dips her adorable new night robe into a bucket full of pain for Gaurav.
Who knew these inmates were capable of such selfless care for their friends inside the house that they would do such difficult things in a heartbeat.
