In Friday's episode, Bigg Boss asks Pritam to name two people worthy of becoming the next captain, and he nominates himself and Karishma Tanna without any hesitation. Karishma and Pritam head two teams and play 'Tick Tak Toe' . Upen,Praneet,Diandra and Sonali are in Karishma's team while Pritam leads the team of Ali, Gautam and Dimpy. Puneet is asked to be the task's observer. Karishma won the task after convincing Gautam Gulati to change his position in the game.
This does not go down well with Dimpy, who had a fight with Karishma recently, and she bares her heart to Gautam on how she is unhappy with the new captain. But Gautam, who doesn’t have any hard feelings for Karishma, still feels that she has not been a kind of a friend whom he can admire. Dimpy says that Gautam favoured Karishma for captaincy as he felt that everyone should get a fair chance in the game. Puneet, too, joins the conversation and says that Pritam had started behaving weird. He adds that Pritam approaches people as per his convenience and needs, which is wrong.

Dimpy isn't satisfied with bicthing to Gautam alone so she moves on to Upen Patel and tells him that she didn't feel nice when Ali only cheered for Karishma during the immunity task. Upen consoles her saying not to worry about Ali, as he goes running after the changing captains of the house and only looks after his interests.
Ali, meanwhile is upset with Karishma for telling him that she would make him the vice-captain. He goes around the house telling everyone that he felt cheated when Karishma changed her stance and said that everyone is mature enough to discern between the good and the bad, and that Ali wouldn’t be the vice-captain. On the other hand, Dimpy apparently influenced Karishma in making her decision against Ali.
Ali feels Karishma ditched him.
Later in the day, Bigg-Boss announces the luxury budget task in which two housemates will get a chance to go shopping. Gautam and Sonali are chosen for the task and get a chance to go to a mall in a brand new Maruti Suzuki Swift. Sonali’s happiness knows no bounds while Gautam looks a little stressed. Other housemates look disappointed for not getting a chance to participate in this task.
Gautam and Sonali arrive at the mall where they are required to buy the luxury food items with a twist. They need to convince the common people inside the supermarket to pay for the items they want to purchase for the house. The two are given 15 minutes to complete the task. Gautam manages to buy most of the items while Sonali takes her time to finish the task.
