“I didn’t want to take up work out of desperation. I wanted to be choosy. So, I decided to wait and not choose a saas bahu kind of show,” says the actor, who will now feature in the show Beyhadh. Does that mean doing regular soaps is a strict no for her? “May be, I will take up later in life but right now I am not ready for such shows. That is something I was sure of when scripts came to me, so I waited for a good script to come my way,” she says.

In her previous show, Vajani’s role was that of a tomboy, but she now wants to get rid of that image. “My fans have loved me as Nisha but I wanted to break that tomboy role. If they have loved me there, they will love me here also,” she says.
