The 68-year-old actor shot for the first promo for the season with photographer Avinash Gowariker, brother of ace filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker.
The show returned for its second season in 2005 with Amitabh, but superstar Shah Rukh Khan was roped in as the host of its third season on Star Plus.
Sony Entertainment Television brought back the show with Amitabh in 2010, and it repeated its success story. The channel signed up the actor for the next two seasons in January.

for the next two seasons... your blessings and encouragement needed in abundance!' Amitabh had posted after signing the deal.
