Game of Thrones Season 7 episode 4 leak: Twitter directs meanest jibes at Hotstar

The fourth episode of Game of Thrones season 7 has leaked online. The loyal fans of the show were quick to react on Twitter with mean and hard-hitting jibes.

Fans of popular TV show Game of Thrones were in for a rude shock late Friday when the unaired episode 4 of the latest season, titled The Spoils of War, leaked online. The episode was scheduled to be aired three days later on Monday morning. The leak originated from Star India that streams GoT via Hotstar. Star India has also acknowledged the “compromise.” As always, Twitteratti have come up with the meanest of jokes and reactions around the leak and, of course, the Indian connect.

While some users were furious, some chose to see the funny side of the things. Hotstar, which promised the episode “minuters after America” and “hours before Torrents”, has become butt of jokes. It may be recalled that Hotstar was trolled on the social media when its application suffered a technical glitch when the first episode of the Game of Thrones season 7 aired.

Meanwhile, the file, which is being circulated on the internet, confirms that the episode is the season’s shortest yet. It lasts 50 minutes. The video features a Star India watermark and “an internal viewing only” warning.
