Game of Thrones to have a 'bittersweet' end: George RR Martin

There are still at least three more seasons to go before the end of Game of Thrones, but speculations on what will happen in the series have already reached a peak.

To help the show's fans, author George RR Martin, who wrote A Song of Ice and Fire on which the hit HBO series is based, has said that he intends to keep the ending 'bittersweet'.Martin said in an interview to Observer that JRR Tolkien of Lord of the Rings was a great inspiration to him and he too would like to give a similar ending to his epic series.
