Gautam’s Tryst with the United Kingdom

Telly actor Gautam Rode who was recently in the UK for an international event was in for a surprise. Rode, who is currently playing the protagonist in the TV show Saraswatichandra, toured four cities within one and a half days in the UK including London, Manchester, Leicester and Birmingham.

Interestingly, each city had a unique experience for Gautam from being mobbed to having fans in tears. Gautam reveals, “I had heard that Saraswatichandra is popular in the UK but it was only when I visited that I realised how religiously people follow the show.

While in Birmingham the fans were more interested in interactions, in Leicester there was a chant that started. For me it was an overwhelming response and the most memorable and unbelievable experience.”
