Actor Aashka Goradia says that it’s essential for actors to keep themselves updated about TRP ratings to be able to analyse what works with the audience.

Actor Aashka Goradia says it’s important for actors to know the TRP ratings of their shows. “I stay updated on TRP ratings of my shows... and I feel that it is also important for actors to know how these are calculated. It’s important to know what works with the audience,” she says.

Aashka, who has been part of the industry for long, feels that competition is a part of life.

“But of course, you cannot judge only in terms of numbers. Plus, there are so many shows, so it is difficult to see who watches what. Yet, we must have a basic understanding,” she adds.

Aashka, who has been part of the industry for long, feels that competition is a part of life. “Competition is part of everything in life. We have been facing it right since school. But it becomes more prominent when you are working. In our profession, you learn to live with it. Even the biggest superstars have competition around them. I don’t let it get to me at all,” she says.

She adds that there is nothing that she dislikes about her profession. “I hate nothing about the profession. I have given my life to acting and love everything about it. It has made me who I am today,” she says.
