Jennifer Winget on Bipasha Basu liking her Instagram pic: Lovely gesture, nothing else

Beyhadh actor Jennifer Winget has come out in support of her ex-husband’s wife actor Bipasha Basu, who was trolled in June for ‘stalking’ Jennifer on Instagram.

Actor Bipasha Basu Singh Grover, who was branded a ‘stalker’ when she liked actor Jennifer Winget’s photo on Instagram, can relax. The Beyhadh (TV show) star has come out in support of Bipasha, who is married to her ex-husband, actor Karan Singh Grover. Talking to a leading daily, she said, “Yes, so I heard. I don’t know why a lovely, casual gesture by her (Bipasha) made headlines and was turned into some sort of an investigation. I don’t think it was fair to write so much about it.”

Actor Jennifer Winget has no ill feelings for her ex-husband Karan Singh Grover or his wife, actor Bipasha Basu.

After receiving flak by users, Bipasha had ‘unliked’ the photo on Instagram.

Jennifer adds that there’s no awkwardness, and that she won’t feel uncomfortable if she meets Karan and Bipasha in the future. “If somebody is good to me, I’ll reciprocate. What’s the harm? If somebody says ‘hello’ to me, I won’t turn my back on them. I know Karan, so why will I not say a hi,” she asks.

Feminism is still the more dirtier F-word, so why put our Feminist sashes on and celebrate womanhood just for one day? It was #InternationalWomensDay yesterday but sadly, we celebrated Hypocrisy.

Jennifer, who divorced Karan in November 2014, after two years of being married, is in a happy space. “I’ve never been this happy and loved,” she says.
