Mouni Roy is on her way to scale new heights in Bollywood and is making sure she carries no weight of rumours and speculation on her shoulders. The television star has finally given a clear statement on her rumoured relationship with her Devon Ke Dev Mahadev co-star, Mohit Raina.
In an interview to Mumbai Express, not only did Mouni deny rumours of her relationship but also says that she isn’t even friends with Mohit. “I am single and have been so for a long time. Mohit and I are not even friends,” she said.
In March, Mohit had told Hindustan Times that Mouni is his only female friend in the industry but denied being in relationship with her. “I have very few friends in the [television] industry, and Mouni is the only female friend. So, I am only seen with her and maybe that’s why such [dating] rumours are spread. Had I been seen with some other girl not from the industry, this wouldn’t have happened. So, we both (Mouni and I) have got used to it now.”

She will also be seen in Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, in Made in China with Rajkummar Rao and in RAW: Romeo Akbar Walter with John Abraham.
