Yes, you read it right. Ned Stark is coming back on HBO's hit TV fantasy drama Game of Thrones and we are not joking. There is a twist to the tale, however.
The producers have a cast a young boy, Sebastian Croft, to play the kind-hearted, now-slain Lord of Winterfell Eddard Stark for a flashback scene from his childhood. This is on the lines of what we saw at the beginning of season 5 with Cersei's character being revisited in her childhood.
Croft is a 13-year-old English actor and has been active with theatre for quite some time. He has appeared in London West End productions of Matilda and Les Miserables, and played young Martius in Coriolanus at the Donmar Warehouse. He also starred as Oliver in a UK national tour of Oliver! and played the title role in The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole.

The casting call for which Croft has been selected asked for a young boy who looked 'great at heart' and a bigger boy with a bulkier frame. We suppose the two boys will play Ned Stark and Robert Baratheon respectively in their childhood.
And maybe, just maybe, we will finally get to know more about Lyanna and what happened between her, Rhaegar and Robert.
