HT Take: Who led Congress victory in Punjab?

Captain Amarinder Singh was clearly the flag bearer of the Congress victory in Punjab, but it is also the organisation which worked as one team that played a major role. This win is a morale booster for the Congress party, which has been dealing with a string of defeats since the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections. The Gandhi family has been an asset as well as a liability for the party. They keep the party intact. But it is also time for them to introspect and co-opt younger leaders like Priyanka Gandhi, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Sachin Pilot and Jitin Prasad.
