Smelling foul in the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) win in Uttar Pradesh, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Saturday alleged that the electronic voting machines (EVMs) were tampered by the saffron party in the state assembly polls. “Either the EVMs did not accept votes other than BJP, or the votes of other parties have gone to BJP in the EVMs,” she said. Adding that most of the votes from Muslim-dominated constituencies have gone to BJP, she said that it shows voting machines were manipulated.
