Updated on Mar 03, 2020 08:31 pm IST
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi repeated his claim that there was corruption in the Rafale fighter aircraft deal. He made the claim while addressing a rally in Mumbai on Sunday. The former Congress president was campaigning for the upcoming Assembly elections in Maharashtra. Gandhi said that the mention of Rafale stings the BJP, and so, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh took the unprecedented step of going to France to take delivery of the first Rafale jet for Indian Air Force. The Rafale scam claim was at the centre of Congress' campaign in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
