Congress leader Nellai Kannan arrested over controversial speech. Kannan delivered an allegedly inciteful speech against PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah. Kannan had made the speech on December 29, 2019. Kannan had said that he had expected minorities to 'end' Modi & Shah. The speech had been made at a protest organised by SDPI. SDPI and BJP workers were seen demonstrating over the issue. SDPI is the political wing of PFI, which has been accused by UP govt of engineering violence in CAA protests.
