Heavy rains wreck parts of Noida, Ghaziabad and Vaishali

The residents of 64 flats at two Ghaziabad apartment complexes were evacuated after an adjacent road caved in due to torrential rainfall over the last 24 hours, threatening to weaken their foundations.Ghaziabad District Administration (GDA) officials fear that flow of rainwater into the crater formed due to the road cave-in could affect the structural integrity of two adjacent apartment complexes in Vasundhara's Sector 4C, more so because the showers are expected to continue till Saturday.
