Kotkhai rape and murder: CBI identifies a woodcutter as the only culprit

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has identified a 25-year-old woodcutter as the culprit of the Kotkhai rape and murder case. He was identified by DNA testing. A 16-year-old girl was raped and murdered last year and her body was found in Kotkhai, near Shimla. The case was transferred to CBI after one of the six suspects died in police custody, after allegedly being severely beaten.
