Mumbai rains: Downpour and waterlogging cause traffic snarls in the city

Heavy rains continue to lash Mumbai on June 25 as several areas witnessed traffic snarls due to water logging. The rains have also caused a delay in services on the Western Railway. Two people were killed and three other injured after a tree fell on then on June 24. The city recorded 94mm of rainfall in Colaba and 231mm in Santacruz. The India Meteorological Department's (IMD) has forecast intermittent rain or showers to occur in city and suburbs with heavy to very heavy rainfall at one or two places.
