A State Bank of India (SBI) cash van guard was shot dead by an armed miscreant in Uttar Pradesh's Allahabad on Wednesday broad daylight. Victim Vinay Chandra Shukla had just got down from the cash van outside Pariyawan-located ATM when he was attacked by a bullet. Upon hearing bullet shots, the nearby people raised an alarm which made the attackers flee away without taking the cash box. Shukla was declared dead after he was rushed to a hospital. The whole incident was captured in a CCTV footage and a probe has been initiated.
