Sewa Cab: Ola and Uber’s new competitor coming soon
Updated on Mar 16, 2017 03:22 pm IST
Ola and Uber drivers whose daily income has taken a hit, left the organisations and went on a strike after they felt that the organisations did not meet their promises of giving incentives. Around 200 drivers launched the Sewa Cab service at Gandhi Peace Foundation in a decison to work as a competitor to the cab giants. Several drivers said they were being stopped by protesters -- their fellow drivers -- across the NCR and coerced into joining the strike. Protesters damaged their vehicles if they failed to comply. The protesters want that the cars of Delhi NCR should operate on sewa cab, they dont want to work with Ola and Uber anymore. Till now no price point has been established for sewa cab.
